A Letter from the President – Looking Back at 2025 and Ahead to 2026

2025 was an incredibly busy and rewarding year for Starship Travel. Earlier this year, I published an article on a topic very close to my heart: Sharing vs. Bragging. I didn’t choose this career for the freebies or the bragging rights—travel has never been about that for me. I chose this path because I genuinely love exploring the world and helping others plan unforgettable vacations.

Over the past 40 years, what began as a personal passion has grown into a full-service agency with five in-house advisors and eight independent contractors. Their dedication, talent, and care are part of what makes milestones like this so meaningful.

Every destination I visit gives me firsthand knowledge to better match each Starship Traveler with the trip that fits them best. In 2025, I had the joy of bringing that knowledge to life across the globe:

2025 Travel Highlights:

  • January – Bali & Southeast Asia: Celebrated my nephew’s Destination Vow Renewal with family from the U.S., North Macedonia, and Norway. Explored Bali like locals, enjoyed a stunning villa stay, and cruised 12 days through Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.
  • April – MAST Conference & Canadian Rockies: Attended the annual MAST Conference in Portland, then boarded the Rocky Mountaineer for a breathtaking journey through Banff and Calgary.
  • June – New York City: Semiannual family trip filled with theater, dining, and shopping. Always a highlight!
  • July – Las Vegas: More shows, sunshine, and fun at The Venetian.
  • August – France River Cruise: Soaked in the culture, history, and cuisine aboard an Avalon River Cruise on the Seine.
  • September – MAST All-Star Awards, Puerto Rico: Honored for the 10th time with this award, while enjoying the growth and culture of San Juan.
  • October – Sandals St. Vincent: Explored this stunning, untouched island gem and new resort.
  • November – ALGV Diamond Elite: Attended the annual awards trip, featuring Carson Kressley and entertainment by the American Authors.
  • Thanksgiving – Galena, Illinois: Celebrated the season at my daughter’s beautiful new home—a true Hallmark weekend of family, football, movies, snow, and lake views.

As we look back on 2025 and begin a new year, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to our amazing advisors and to our loyal clients who have trusted us for 40 years. Year after year, we are honored to help make your travel dreams come true.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and letting us be a part of your journeys around the world. We are always here for you.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a beautiful year ahead,
—Linda, President of Starship Travel
