New england and canada fall colors
One of my favorite trips, or several as the case may be, have been to Canada and New England for the Fall Colors. Twice, I have gone by land and cruise, and twice just by car and land. Anyway that you travel to this magnificent area will take your breath away.

We started in Montreal, then took a train to Quebec to pick up a Holland America ship to sail via the St Lawrence seaway. It is a fabulous way to travel and see many areas like Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia; New Brunswick, down to Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor Maine on the way to Boston or even onto New York. The color change in late September or October is really something to experience.

Picture yourself in Maine, sitting at an outdoor table enjoying a fresh lobster with drawn butter- nothing is better than that while watching a beautiful sunset and whales playing.
A train trip to New England will leave the driving to a conductor so you can see and enjoy the sights. This is a beautiful way to relax, see the United States, experience the culture, history and the many restaurants along the way. Consider this to be your next “Great Adventure”.
