Join our Star-Advisors; Linda, Rose and Karen on a luxurious journey visiting Sandals South Coast to conduct site inspections of not only the Sandals South Coast resort, but as well as Sandals Negril, and Beaches Negril.
Our Advisors spent 4 days at South Coast and branched off to the other resorts from there. We first want to highlight the overall feel of this beautiful island and the wonderful people who helped make this journey exceptional by saying, our advisors felt very safe the entire trip; Everyone they encountered along the way was very friendly and welcoming to their group. Having traveled all over, back and forth from Montego Bay to Whitehouse then Negril, and back we can confidently say JAMAICA IS SAFE! You can see this amazing country and all it has to offer for yourself.
Sandals South Coast, (previously known as Sandals Whitehouse) is made up of 3 main buildings, Starlight, Silver Sun, and Long Beach (previously known as the Italian, Dutch, and French Villages.) Plus, the fabulous Rondevals and iconic overwater Bungalows.
This is an incredibly large and open property, sprawling with beautiful gardens and lush foliage; Set on a 2-mile stretch of the pristine south coast Jamaica beach, embracing the alluring coastline; Where water is the inspiration for everything new and innovative.
The next stop for our Star- Advisors was Sandals Negril, again a gorgeous property but quite different from South Coast. Set along the longest, best stretch of Negril’s 7-mile beach life can truly be what you imagine at this relaxed chic, and free-spirited resort. Recently, a brand new building offering 2 story rooms was added, giving show stopping ocean views from the comfort of your own balcony.
Another neat room category offered is the Butler Elite category, these luxe rooms include amenities like airport transfers, an in room bar with premium liquors, whirlpool tub, 24- hour in room dining and of course, the 24- hour Butler service. These services can be used for things like making restaurant reservations, getting a ride around the resort, and so much more!
Finally, our advisors visited one of Linda’s favorite family friendly properties, Beaches Negril. A wonderful property for multigenerational travelers, with villas that can sleep up to 18 people, a waterpark and kids club, along with most of the same amenities Sandals resorts offer (Spas, sport areas, lounges and bars etc.) there is bound to be something for everyone!
What makes Beaches Negril so special is their Autism Inclusion Program. More than 85% of the staff at Beaches is IBCCES Certified and ready to help families with members on the spectrum; Even hosting a dedicated week for parents and children to come and enjoy activities tailored to their needs. Here, parents can enjoy their vacation just as much as their kiddos, knowing they are being well taken care of by well-trained, certified sitters at the Kids Camp… Free of cost!
