Recently one of our agents Rylee Bennett and her family took a trip to visit the beautiful Bowling Green Kentucky over Memorial Day weekend. Going into the trip she didn’t know what to expect since it was a first-time experience for her! After a long 8-hour car ride (with lots of stops for her puppies) they finally arrived at their rental property, just minutes away from Western Kentucky University.

During her trip she had the opportunity to relax at a local rock quarry, enjoying swimming and fishing, as well as exploring the nearby nature areas. By the second day she was ready for some excitement and decided to visit Beech Bend Amusement Park, a historic area that was used for picnics as early as the 1880s. then was later purchased in the early 1940s, with the addition of amusements, both rides and recreational activities over the years.

After the park Rylee and her family took the opportunity to visit the Beech Bend Dragstrip for the NHRA races and watch the many different category cars get their qualifying times. Pro stock, super comp, and super street cars, etc. were all included in this day’s race.

The last day of Rylee’s trip, Monday, was spent on the road driving home with her family. Her overall opinion of the trip, in her own words, was “Bowling Green was a beautiful place, whether you want a quiet getaway or a thrilling vacation there is something here for everyone. I would 100% recommend considering Bowling Green for your next getaway!”
