After Thanksgiving Linda and Len set off to Los Angeles, California to go onboard the Norwegian Bliss. We were on the Inaugural in 2018 but this time we were just 2 adults cruising and relaxing. The ship’s itinerary included Los Cabos, Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. As Len and I have both been to Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta we felt it was not necessary to get off the ship, we choose to really enjoy everything the ship had to offer. We did do a half day sightseeing in Mazatlán as either of us had been there before.

The Bliss caters to all ages of the family, as well as different budgets. For the kids, the fun is endless. With different pool areas- kids area and waterslides, your little fishes will have the time of their lives. For the adrenaline-loving kids (and adults), there is a go-kart (a la Mario Kart style) track and a huge laser tag arena that is straight out of a sci-fi action movie.
For adults, it may seem like the ship is catered to the children, but you can have equally as much fun. There are 15 different bars around the ship, a large variety of entertainment, and more. All of the bars and restaurants have their own theme and feel. The decorating throughout the ship is breathtaking, and by visiting the different bars and restaurants, you can feel like you are visiting different places all while being on the ship. The specialty restaurants were fabulous, a nice treat rather than dining in the large ships dining room! The service was exceptional.

Entertainment on the Bliss is has something for every adult. Shows include Jersey Boys, Levity Entertainment Group (comedy show), Happy Hour Prohibition: The Musical, and the Broadway show SIX . There are also many special events such as a game show, dance/music/theme parties, and more. For the whole family, don’t miss the bowling area, or lounge in the sun by the pool, or chill out at the observation deck to take in the unreal views.

We had a very nice, upgraded cabin with a beautiful bathroom. It was a bit windy but we were able to sit and enjoy the views from our balcony. “See the world like never before. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open to your very own private balcony. Stylish and sophisticated appointments enhance these modern rooms.”.
In all it was a very relaxing vacation for Len and I something I don’t do very often. We playing cards, went to the Art Auction, plays some games on board and general had a nice time.
